Sailor MoonPajama-Rama Book Tour

The event went off very well, except that Lianne was an hour late due to the Jersey Shore traffic! ( 0.0 Poor Lianne!) We wanted to wait for her (She was on her way!), but the kids were getting antsy, so about 45 minutes after the scheduled time, I went out to greet everyone. There were about 40 to 50 people (parents and kids) waiting--MUCH bigger crowd than I expected. I got a super warm welcome too. Most were young kids, around 8 years old, but there were a few teens there too, which was pretty awesome. I really didn't expect any teens to bother, but they were just as thrilled as the young ones!
I welcome everyone and offered to pose for photos and sign autographs til Lianne came.. the minute I finished, I got mobbed! (**whoa**) I must have signed autographs for about 20 minutes. As I was signing, the kids and I chatted about the show. Most of them have seen the S movie. One little girl was so shy, she cried when I tried to talk to her. (I've must have been a little *too* real for her, I suppose!) A couple of young boys were there too. They were really shy though. It was all so sweet. One of the little girls hugged me while I was chatting with some of the parents and she asked me where the other Scouts were! (Awwww!! ^.^) I wasn't asked many questions, suprisingly enough. Mostly it was the kids telling *me* how much they loved the show. I feel like such a celebrity!
The excitement did die down just in time for Lianne to arrive. She said hello to everyone and introduced herself. Then she told everyone how she got into Sailor Moon, writing fanfics and getting hired by Mixx to write the companion novels. Then she took questions and signed books. The kids seemed to really like her. This is when I got to get some photos.. and then after everyone left, Lianne's mom took some pics..
